Reasons for Discontinuation
Larry Dominique, the Head of Alfa Romeo and Fiat North America, explains the reasoning behind the discontinuation: “we continue our metamorphosis to an electrified future, but this is not the end of the story,” he remarks. “I look forward to presenting the next chapter in the four-leaf clover’s journey.” This statement underlines Alfa Romeo’s strategic shift towards electrification, reflecting the automotive industry’s broader move towards sustainable energy solutions.
Impact on Alfa Romeo Shoppers and the Market
For enthusiasts and potential buyers, especially those at premier dealerships like Alfa Romeo of Tysons Corner, Virginia, this announcement is a momentous one. While it signifies the end of an era, it also highlights the Quadrifoglio models’ potential as future collectibles. As Dominique aptly puts it “This is the final chance to own a Quadrifoglio with only combustion engine technology.”
