2019 Stelvio vs. 2019 F-PACE

Stelvio vs F-Pace

So, you’ve decided to shop for a luxury SUV. While there are many brands to choose from, Alfa Romeo and Jaguar are two premium choices for drivers looking to make a statement. These brands certainly stand out from the more common luxury emblems that you will see on the road.

In this post, we take the 2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio and 2019 Jaguar F-PACE to compare key categories that will help you decide between the two.

2019 Stelvio vs. F-PACE Pricing

One of the first questions buyers will have involves vehicle pricing. When it comes to these two vehicles, the Stelvio has a lower entry price. Buyers can find the Stelvio starting at $41,590 thanks to a recently-added rear-wheel drive option. The F-PACE comes standard with all-wheel drive, starting at $45,595. Buyers can opt for the AWD version of the Stelvio for $43,590, still $2,000 less than the F-PACE.

Fuel Economy, Cargo, and Features

When it comes to fuel economy, there isn’t a large difference between the Stelvio and the F-PACE, with only 1 mile of difference in combined mpg ratings. The Stelvio offers a rear-wheel-drive option that boasts 22 mpg city, 29 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined. Adding the AWD brings the combined mpg down to 24. The F-PACE is estimated to give 22 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 24 mpg combined. The F-PACE comes with AWD standard, putting its combined mpg on par with the Stelvio’s AWD option.

Cargo space is important for those looking to carry luggage or other items regularly, and there is a sizeable difference between the Stelvio and F-PACE in this category. The Stelvio offers 18.5 cubic feet of trunk storage, which increases to 56.5 cubic feet with the seats folded down. By contrast, the F-PACE features 33.5 cubic feet of trunk space with 63.5 cubic feet of space with its seats collapsed.

Both vehicles come with an array of standard features. The base Stelvio features 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate controls, leather upholstery, and a powered tailgate. The F-PACE includes a 10-inch touchscreen, standard all-wheel drive, parking sensors at both ends, faux leather upholstery, and an 11-speaker audio system. Both brands have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto built-in.
