DIY Tabletop Succulent Garden

If you struggle with a green thumb, try keeping this tiny succulent garden alive instead! Succulents need a lot of light, which is why they’re the perfect patio plant. The tutorial calls for a lantern-style flush mount light, but you can easily find faux lanterns meant for terrariums at many craft and box stores. Be sure to give your new succulent babies a good soil mix – aim for a 1:1:1 mix of potting soil, sand, and an aerator like perlite or coco coir. Succulents don’t need a lot of water and they like well-draining soil so that their roots can dry out between drinks, so be sure that there is plenty of aerating agents in your soil.
