Enjoy The County Fair

You’ve waited all year, and now it’s here! The Floyd County Fair returns to the Chantilly Farm on Saturday, September 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Chantilly Farm offers attendees acres of space to explore and learn about the 175-year agricultural history of Floyd County. Agricultural Olympics, music, demonstrations, games, and other activities are part of a full day of festivities. Organizers have appropriately themed this year’s event “Celebrating Everyday Heroes” in appreciation of the frontline workers who have spent their lives protecting this community.

Petting Zoo

No fair experience is complete without a visit to the petting zoo! Experience the joy of getting up close and personal with a host of domesticated farm animals, including goats, sheep, rabbits, ducks, and even llamas. Educational and fun for the whole family, the petting zoo offers attendees the opportunity to feed and pet farm animals under the guidance and supervision of professionals.

Camping

What makes the Floyd County Fair uniquely different from other fairs is that it offers camping for attendees. The campground at Chantilly Farm is an ideal place to pitch a tent or park an RV while attending the fair.
